Hello! First of all, we want to thank you for your prayers and support, we really appreciate it and we pray for you as well!
We want to tell you that we arrived to around 3 weeks ago Romania! It is amazing being back here. Romania is more than beautiful mountains and landscapes. It’s a place that really needs the love of God and also a place where many people are rejected just for their roots or color skin (the Gypsis). It’s also a place with a lot of poverty and where the government just ignores this. Romania is a country where God is taking place and we are here to take place with Him and make Him being known by the people.
We started with the Bible school and we are learning a lot. It’s really amazing and challenging for us to face our fears and take risks. This we did for example during our teambuilding, where we climbed in an adventure park and we camped in the nature.
But also we are not receiving only we are also giving that is why we are involved in projects with kids and teenagers. Like the ‘soccer project’ where we create a good environment for the kids to play and develop their skills. But where we also talk about God, which is the main reason of this project.
We work also in the ‘Casa Ana’ project, where in one week 60 kids can come, divided in different groups throughout the week. Here they can take a warm bath, eat a nice meal, play a lot and being a kid for a moment. But they can also get to know God more and worship Him. All of these kids and teenagers live in poverty surrounded by a lot of addictions and really bad examples for their lives. We give our best to make of this place a ‘refuge’ for these kids, where they can come and be loved by God through us and where they can feel safe from all the problems that surrounds them daily.
We are also working with other projects which we will tell more about in our coming blog posts. Also on this blog you can check some pictures of the projects and the kids!
We also found an apartment three days after we arrived in Romania. The apartment is basically next to the Bible school and supermarket, which is the perfect location for us. Right now we are very busy with painting and cleaning the apartment and we hope to move in soon! Thank you all for your prayers for this apartment.
For our monthly support we are depended on donations from our friends and family. Right now we have already some friends and family and our church who supports us monthly and we are very, very thankful with them. But these sponsors don’t cover all of our monthly finances as rent, food, insurance, clothes etc. and that’s the reason why we are looking for more supporters.

¡Hola! Primero que todo, queremos agradecerles por sus oraciones y su apoyo en nuestras finanzas. Verdaderamente lo apreciamos. Estamos orando por ustedes.
También queremos contarte que llegamos a ¡Rumania! Es asombroso estar de vuelta. Romania es más que montañas y paisajes. También es un país que realmente necesita el amor de Dios, también un lugar donde muchas personas son rechazadas por sus raíces y su color de piel (Gitanos) también un lugar donde la pobreza es grande y su gobierno simplemente lo ignora; pero es un país donde Dios está tomando lugar y estamos aquí para tomar lugar con Dios y hacer conocer su nombre.
Al mismo tiempo dimos inicio con la Escuela Bíblica y estamos aprendiendo demasiado. Es realmente asombroso y al mismo tiempo nos reta a confrontar nuestros miedos y tomar riesgos. Esto hicimos por ejemplo en nuestro campamento de equipo donde acampamos en la naturaleza y al mismo tiempo afrontamos diferentes miedos como por ejemplo las alturas.
Pero no estamos únicamente acá para recibir, estamos acá también para dar, y es por eso que estamos envueltos con diferentes proyectos con niños y adolescentes. Por ejemplo el proyecto de futbol donde creamos un ambiente bueno y sano donde ellos puedan jugar y desarrollar sus habilidades, pero también para hablar de Dios, que es la principal razón por la cual hacemos esto. También el proyecto casa Ana donde 60 niños pueden venir y recibir una comida caliente y deliciosa por día, pero también jugar y conocer de Dios y adoración. Muchos de estos niños y adolescentes viven en pobreza y rodeados de adicciones y realmente malos ejemplos. Damos lo mejor de nosotros para hacer de este lugar un ‘refugio’ para estos pequeños donde puedan sentirse amados y seguros de todos los problemas que los rodean.
También estamos trabajando con otros proyectos que les contaremos en otro blog. En este blog también podrán ver algunas fotos de los proyectos y los niños.
También encontramos un apartamento 3 días después de que llegamos a Rumania, en este momento nos encontramos pintándolo y arreglando algunas cosas que no se encuentran en las mejores condiciones, esperamos movernos pronto. También está al lado de la escuela bíblica y de los supermercados, algo que es perfecto para nosotros, agradecemos sus oraciones por nuestro apartamento, por favor sigan orando.
Queremos contarte que nuestras finanzas por mes dependen de nuestros amigos, familia y Dios, y estamos muy agradecidos con cada una de las personas que nos han ayudado y apoyado en nuestras finanzas para seguir haciendo la obra. Pero no es suficiente para cubrir todos los gastos (resta, agua, luz, alimentación, transporte, ropa, etc.) por lo que andamos en busca de más personas que nos apoyen en nuestras finanzas. También decirte que la cantidad de dinero no es lo importante, pero tu corazón y compromiso lo es.

Hallo! Allereerst willen we jullie bedanken voor jullie gebeden en ondersteuning, we waarderen het echt en we bidden ook voor jullie!
We willen jullie laten weten dat we ongeveer 3 weken geleden zijn aangekomen in Roemenië. Het is geweldig om hier weer terug te zijn. Roemenië is meer dan prachtige bergen en landschappen. Het is een plaats die echt de liefde van God nodig heeft and een plaats waar mensen gediscrimineerd worden voor hun afkomst en huidskleur (de zigeuners). Het is ook een plaats met veel armoede wat genegeerd wordt door de overheid. Roemenië is een land waar God plaats aan het innemen is en wij zijn hier om samen met Hem plaats in te nemen en Hem bekend te maken onder de mensen.
We zijn begonnen met de bijbelschool en we leren veel. Het is geweldig en uitdagend voor ons om onze angsten te overwinnen en risico’s te nemen. Dit hebben wij bijvoorbeeld gedaan tijdens onze teambuilding, waar we geklommen hebben in een adventure park en gekampeerd hebben in de natuur.
Maar we ontvangen niet alleen, we geven ook, daarom zijn we betrokken in projecten met kinderen en tieners. Zoals het voetbal project, waar we een goede omgeving creeëren voor de kinderen om te spelen en hun talenten te ontwikkelen. Maar waar we ook praten over God die de voornaamste reden voor dit project is.
We werken ook in het ‘Casa Ana’ project, waar per week 60 kinderen komen, verdeeld over verschillende groepen gedurende de week. Hier kunnen ze een warm bad nemen, lekker eten, heel veel spelen en even kind zijn voor een moment. Maar ze kunnen hier ook God beter leren kennen en Hem aanbidden. Al deze kinderen en tieners leven in armoede en zijn omringt bij verslaving en slechte voorbeelden voor hun leven. We doen ons best om van deze plaats een ‘schuilplaats’ te maken voor deze kinderen waar ze kunnen komen en geliefd kunnen zijn bij God door ons heen and waar ze zich veilig kunnen voelen van alle problemen waarin ze dagelijks verkeren.
We werken ook met andere projecten maar hier zullen we meer over vertellen in de aankomende blog posts. In deze blog kunt u ook een aantal foto’s bekijken van de projecten en de kinderen!
We hebben ook een appartement gevonden, drie dagen nadat we aankwamen in Roemenië. Dit appartement is feitelijk naast de bijbelschool en supermarkt, wat voor ons de perfecte locatie is. Op dit moment zijn we druk bezig met het verven en schoonmaken van het appartement en we hopen er snel in te kunnen wonen! Heel erg bedankt voor al jullie gebeden voor dit appartement.
Voor onze maandelijkse ondersteuning zijn wij afhankelijk van donaties van vrienden en familie. Op dit moment hebben we al wat vrienden en familie en onze kerk die ons maandelijks ondersteunen en zijn hier heel, heel erg dankbaar voor. Maar deze ondersteuning is niet genoeg om al onze maandelijkse kosten zoals huur, eten, verzekering, kleding etc. te kunnen dekken en dat is de reden waarom wij op zoek zijn maar meer supporters.
